The Town of Marblehead

There’s a real sense of place in Marblehead – a sense of belonging. The town, founded in 1629, is one of the first established in America. From the beginning, Marbleheaders have been independent. Marblehead captures the charm of New England with its beautiful North Shore beaches and views of its harbor and the ocean beyond. Historic Old Town offers boutiques, galleries, antique gift & specialty shops, museums, and Colonial-era homes and buildings. Stroll along the narrow, charming streets lined with grand homes built centuries ago. Bite into a Joe Frogger-Marblehead’s own famous molasses cookie. Visit historic sights such as Fort Sewall, Jeremiah Lee Mansion and the Old Powder House.

Marblehead is everything you’d expect from a tight-knit coastal communitythe quintessential seaside retirement dream.

Transitioning aging parents into the next chapter of life is challenging for the entire family, the team went above and beyond when it comes to sensitivity around that. My mother-in-law was welcomed with open arms as if she had been a part of the Northbridge community for years. We are forever grateful.
