How long have you been working in Senior Living and what first made you interested in the field?

I have worked in senior living for 27 years and I enjoy that the hours allow more time to be with my family.

What is your favorite part about working in Senior Living?

Providing great food for the residents, they deserve it.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about being a Culinary Director?

There are a lot of working parts that need constant attention to run a successful operation. It is a 365 day job and you don’t get to stay home during a blizzard like everyone else.

What is one piece of advice you would share with someone thinking of starting a career in Senior Living?

It’s a lot of work, but it is very rewarding work serving the community of residents and making them happy!

What is the best part about working at Laurentide or at Northbridge?

Laurentide is a very special place with a great group of people working here.
