- What first made you interested in working in Senior Living?
My respect and admiration for seniors. - How long have you been working in Senior Living and what was your first job in this field?
I have been working in senior living for 7 years and I wasn’t always a Business Office Director, earlier in my career I was a Program Director. - What is your favorite part about working in Senior Living?
How every day I learn, think, laugh and appreciate life because of the residents. - What is one thing you wish everyone knew about being a Business Office Director?
That our doors are always open to employees, residents and families everyday, all day for anything they may need. - What is one piece of advice you would share with someone thinking of starting a career in Senior Living?
It is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had even on the more difficult days there is always someone or something that makes me smile. - What keeps you invested in the field of Senior Living?
I truly love what I do. - What is your favorite part of your job?
No question about it, it’s the residents. - What is the best part about working at The Mariner?
There is never a dull moment, never a day I don’t laugh out loud and over all it is such a warm and loving environment. It sounds crazy but it feels like home and where I belong.
