How long have you been working in Senior Living and what was your first job in this field?
My first job in Senior Living was 6 years ago – I was the Assistant Executive Director for a Senior Living Community in Falmouth, MA. I was so excited to start my new career that I did not mind the hour commute one way.
What is your favorite part about working in Senior Living?
Getting to know the residents and family members. Our residents have lived great lives and I love getting to know them. Being there for them and helping them when able.

We wear many hats. We are involved in all departments in different aspects throughout the community.
What is one piece of advice you would share with someone thinking of starting a career in Senior Living?

What is the best part about working at Avita of Needham or at Northbridge?
The best part of working at Avita of Needham is getting to see how we all work together as a team to assist the residents. Northbridge is a great company to work for. The overall quality of their communities, service and physical aspects, I really like. In addition, the size of the company – much more personal; you are known by your name.
