How long have you been working in Senior Living and what first made you interested in the field?

I’ve been working in Senior Living since early 2025. After spending 14 years in retail real estate, I was seeking a career transition that would provide greater purpose and fulfillment in my daily work. Senior Living resonated with me because of the opportunity to form meaningful relationships and make a genuine impact on residents and their families.

What is your favorite part about working in Senior Living?

The most rewarding part for me is knowing that my work makes a difference. Whether it’s helping residents feel supported or giving families peace of mind, it’s fulfilling to be part of something that truly matters.

What is one thing you wish everyone knew about being a Sales Director?

I wish people understood that being a Sales Director in Senior Living goes beyond sales. You’re often supporting families during a very emotional time, building trust, and helping them navigate one of the most important decisions they’ll make.

What is one piece of advice you would share with someone thinking of starting a career in Senior Living?

My advice would be to lead with heart and always put relationships first. In Senior Living—especially the Northbridge way—success comes from truly knowing your residents, their families, and your team. If you approach the work with empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to serve, the impact you make will be felt every single day.

What is the best part about working at Sunnybrook or at Northbridge?

The best part about working at Sunnybrook/Northbridge is that it feels like family. The relationships, support, and sense of belonging make it a truly special place to work.

What is your best tip for a family starting their senior living search?

My best tip is to take your time and lead with what truly matters to your family. Ask questions, visit communities, and pay attention to how you’re treated—because Senior Living should feel like an extension of family. At Northbridge, we believe in listening first, building trust, and helping families find the right fit, not just a place. When the connection feels genuine, you’ll know you’re in the right community.
