I feel so lucky to work with the team at Avita of Newburyport and share my day with such a special group of residents. Introducing Avita to so many people is the best part of my job, and I truly enjoy working with each and every one of them.

Individuals with memory loss need the highest quality of care, and it is a privilege to make a difference in their lives. It is all about living in the moment for this population and connecting with each individual. As a Resident Care Director I will be able to impact residents and families daily and be a support and resource to the community.

I am passionate about providing purposeful engagement throughout the day that focuses on individual strengths, interests, and needs in addition to providing support to the families of our residents.

I grew up in Newburyport and to be able to come home and work with such a great company is a true blessing. Every day I get the privilege of directing a Dining team that genuinely cares about our residents and the food they eat. We are excited to use local produce and local seafood in our cooking and I think it makes a big difference – one that our residents can really taste. I particularly enjoy getting to know each of my residents and I like spending time with them and their families. They become my family, and family is the best to cook for.

Making our building beautiful, clean and safe is my top priority and I take great pride in it. I am honored to take care of the place that our residents call home!
